From pets and horses to livestock and wildlife. From veterinary medicine to care and training. Our academic and professional lives have centered around animals. We have bachelors degrees in animal science and wildlife biology, and have continued to work with animals since graduating. We currently own and operate our company, Remuda Ranch, where we do animal behavior consulting and western riding lessons.

If you have a dog with a severe behavior problem such as aggression, separation anxiety, or self-harm it is best to get professional help from a CCPDT certified Behavior Consultant, a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (CAAB), or a Board Certified Veterinary Behaviorist. These issues require a high level of involvement and guidance from a behavioral expert in order to resolve.
Great question! Working in animal behavior is a fantastic and rewarding career! I recommend checking out the CCPDT to see their certification process and to learn through their recommended reading.
